According to the headquarter of International Federation of Iranian Refugees (IFIR) in Turkey, on 5 April 2021, five Iranian asylum seekers who live in Denizli, were arrested by Turkish security police and are currently being held by the police.

The detained asylum seekers are Lily Faraji, one of the supporters of the Women’s Indictment in the Women’s Revolution and one of the signatories of the Boycott of the Islamic Republic petition, ‌ Zeinab Sahafi known as Zeinab Persepolis, Ismail Fattahi and Mohammad Pourakbari. They were arrested for attending an assembly to raise awareness about the situation in Iran. The assembly was for a protest against the withdrawal of the Turkish government from the Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women; however, the Iranian asylum seekers did not take part in the rally to chant slogans against the Turkish government. The placards held by detained asylum seekers read, “No to the Islamic Republic” and “Boycott the Islamic Regime of Iran”; there are many eyewitnesses to confirm that the Iranian asylum seekers attended the assembly to raise public’s awareness about the situation in Iran not to take part in the protest against the Turkish government.

The Iranian asylum seekers simply took the opportunity to raise awareness about the situation in Iran; they didn’t cause any trouble nor they did they attack anyone or caused damages to anything. Their arrest is unjustified, unfair and unlawful, as participation in a peaceful assembly is not a crime or an offence.

The International Federation of Iranian Refugees (IFIR) informs the Turkish Immigration Office and the Ministry of Interior that the news of the detention and the threat of deportation of the asylum seekers have been widely reported in the Persian-language media abroad and that the Iranian oppositions are deeply concerned about them.

Last year, Turkish police deported two Iranian asylum seekers, Mohammad Rajabi and Saeed Tamjidi, to Iran where they were sentenced to execution by the Islamic Republic. The International Federation of Iranian Refugees hopes that the Turkish government will not take such action against the detained asylum seekers in the city of Denizli, and releases them as soon as possible. Their release will bring a peace of mind to all Iranians.

نامه فوری به وزارت کشور و اداره امور مهاجرت  ترکیه

موضوع: پرونده پناهجویان بازداشتی در شهر دینزلی به تاریخ ۵ آوریل ۲۰۲۱

طبق اخبار رسیده به دفتر مرکزی فدراسیون سراسری پناهندگان ایرانی IFIR) ) ۵ نفر از پناهجویان ایرانی  ساکن شهر دنیزلی ترکیه به نامهای لیلی فرجی از حامیان کیفرخواست زنان در انقلاب زنانه و از امضا کنندگان بایکوت جمهوری اسلامی،‌ زینب صحافی معروف به زینب پرسپولیسی،‌ اسماعیل‌ فتاحی و محمد پوراکبری توسط پلیس امنیت ترکیه دستگیر شده اند و در حال حاضر در بازداشت پلیس دنیزلی بسر می برند.

طبق اخبار منتشر شده و تماس های اولیه با دستگیر شدگان، این ۵ نفر به دلیل شرکت در تجمع اعتراضی به خروج دولت ترکیه از معاهده منع خشونت علیه زنان بازداشت شده اند.

پناهجویان ایرانی در تجمع ۵ آوریل شرکت نکرده بودند تا علیه دولت ترکیه شعار بدهند، روی پلاکارد هایی که پناهجویان بازداشتی در دست داشتند نوشته شده بود “نه به جمهوری اسلامی” و “بایکوت جمهوری اسلامی”.  آنها از این فرصت استفاده کرده بودند که توجه عموم را به اوضاع در ایران جلب کنند.

حتی اگر آنها برای برگزاری تجمع ۵ آوریل مجوز قانونی هم نمی داشتند، نباید بازداشت می شدند. آنها نه به جایی حمله کردند ونه به کسی خسارتی وارد کرده اند. دستگیری آنها ناعادلانه و حتی غیر قانونی است! طبق خود قوانین دولت ترکیه کسی را نباید صرفا بخاطر شرکت در یک تجمع آرام و بدون خشونت بازداشت نمایند.

فدراسیون سراسری پناهندگان ایرانی IFIR)) به اطلاع اداره مهاجرت و وزارت کشور ترکیه می رساند که خبر بازداشت و خطر بازگرداندن پناهجویان در رسانه های فارسی زبان خارج از کشور تا همینجا بازتاب گسترده ای پیدا کرده و مخالفین دولت ایران بشدت نگران بازگرداندن این پناهجویان به ایران هستند.

سال گذشته پلیس ترکیه محمد رجبی و سعید تمجیدی دو تن از معترضان آبان ماه خونین ۹۸ را از ترکیه به ایران دیپورت کرد که جمهوری اسلامی برای آنها حکم اعدام صادر کرد. فدراسیون امیدوار است دولت ترکیه در ارتباط با پناهجویان بازداشتی در شهر دنیزلی دست به چنین اقدامی نزند و هرچه زودتر آنها را آزاد کند، آزادی آنها مایه خوشحالی همه ایرانیان خواهد بود.
